A simple action. A lasting impact.
Every piece of waste that ends up on the ground near the river doesn't disappear: it flows with the water, pollutes the ecosystem, harms the life that depends on it, and puts our health as a community at risk.
This project was born from the desire to care for what unites us: the river. We want to install stainless steel trash receptacles at key points along its course. They should be there, visible, accessible, ready to facilitate a change of habit: disposing of trash where it belongs.
Because caring for the river means caring for our present and sowing hope in those who come after us.
We invite neighbors, businesses, organizations, and anyone who loves nature to join us. You can help with a donation, by volunteering, or simply by sharing this message. Every gesture counts. Every person counts.
Why this project?
Caring for the river is caring for life.
Every piece of waste that ends up on the ground near the river doesn't disappear:
• It pollutes the water
• It damages the ecosystem
• It affects the health of the community
This project was born from the desire to protect what unites us: the Guatapurí River.
What will we do?
Concrete action:
We will install stainless steel trash containers at key points along the river.
We want to make trash disposal easy, accessible, and visible.
A change in habits can start with something as simple as throwing trash where it belongs.
How can you help?
